Abstract/Summary
A short summary of the antiquities and finds from Dorchester. It is divided into eight thematic chapters (Fortification; Road; Tesselated floor; Pottery; Glass, Kimeridge Shale, Stone and Bone; Coins; Objects of Bronze and other metals, apart from coins; Buildings) and a brief description of the discoveries is given, together with some sketches of objects and buildings. A useful summary of early finds from Dorchester.
