Abstract/Summary
Primarily a publicity booklet, giving introductory information on the development of the Roman town, a background to the excavations at the Old Methodist Chapel and the (then) forthcoming excavations at Greyhound Yard. It contains a summary of the historical sources and historic maps and an interim statement on the results of the 1982 excavations.
