Abstract/Summary
Wessex Archaeology excavated two small trenches in advance of proposed extensions to WDDC offices. The earlier stratigraphy had been heavily disturbed by post-medieval activity. A late Roman ditch and a pit filled with painted wall plaster were investigated, together with a number of post-medieval features including a pit, a well and numerous post-holes.
