Full Description

Large pit containing burnt flint, hearthstone and Purbeck stone. Two saddle quernstone's at base with small deposit of charcoal and Bronze Age pottery to one side of the quernstone's. A further six pits contained varying quantities of burnt flint but only one had associated Bronze Age pottery. Another feature, including dumps of raw and fired clay, is believed to be related to pottery manufacture (see WX3350) (1)
