Full Description
Phase 4, 1995. Short length of gully 1m x 0.2m by 0.15m deep containing a fragments of pottery, two blades and a flint flake (1)
Phase 7, 1998. Five features of MBA date were excavated including two ditches with fingernail impressed pottery, a pit with burnt flint and a pit with hearthstone, sandstone, burnt flint, charcoal and raw clay. A fifth feature has been interpreted as a firing floor related to pottery manufacture (see WX3350). These features are only c. 75m from a cremation cemetery (WX3558) and may be contemporary with that site (2)
