Abstract/Summary

Results of an evaluation in advance of and a watching brief during the construction of a new building to the rear of 42 South Street, Bridport. This revealed a number of late medieval or post-medieval pits, a small gully and a WWII Anderson Shelter. Some residual Bronze Age and/or Iron Age finds were also recovered.
