Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation of the final development phase at the former Maud Road School, Dorchester was carried out in November 1996. Four 10m x 1.5m trenches were mechanically excavated. Two subsoil features of possible archaeological origin in the NE area of the site were difficult to date due to the fragmentary nature of the finds. The density of finds and features does not indicate any great intensity of settlement activity
