Abstract/Summary

A modest number of anomalies of potential archaeological interest were detected by the geophysical survey. Of most interest were those concentrated in the south-east of AG6 which seem to comprise enclosure complexes typically of Roman and or Iron Age date. Many anomalies close to the River Frome appear to be of geological origin, presumably including former channels on the low lying ground, but also include a number of man-made ditches likely to be a part of the water management system recorded there.
