Full Description
Part of a later prehistoric field system on Ridge Hill, Sydling St Nicholas, is visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are probably a continuation of a field system of potentially Iron Age to Roman date to the southwest, recorded under MDO42926, and to the south as MDO48688. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
