Summary

Trench 2 uncovered a clay filled pit, 247, that was sub-round shaped with steep sides and a slightly convex base. It had a diameter of 0.8m and a depth of 0.18m. The clay was made up of individual blocks unaffected by heat and extended to 0.2m above the top of the pit.
