Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief was maintained during the excavation of foundation trenches for a new sports hall at Carter Sports and Community College, Blandford Close, Hamworthy, Poole (NGR SY99859064). The site lies in close proximity to the proposed course of the Roman road along the Hamworthy peninsula and close to the core of the medieval settlement of Hamworthy. No finds, features, or depoostis of archaeological significance were observed.
