Abstract/Summary

Brief report on archaeological observations and recording at the King's Head, High Street, Poole in 1993. A crudely-built stone wall base consisting of three courses of chalk and other stone, and set into natural sand, may be part of a structure shown on a plan of poole dated 1774.
