Abstract/Summary
Archaeological desk-based assessment of c. 0.6 ha of land at The Recluse, Culliford Road North (SY697903). The assessment established that the site is in close proximity to a Neolithic timber ring monument, two Bronze Age barrows and a number of isolated Roman burials. Should prehistoric and/or Roman remains survive within the site, they are likely to have been largely unaffected by recent land usage so may be reasonably well preserved.
