Abstract/Summary
Report of the six-trench evaluation carried out between the 30th June and 4th July 2025. The proposed development will involve the construction of four bungalows with garages, a pair of semi-detached houses, and the roads and associated infrastructure. The northern boundary of the site did not extend into the Lynchet. There were no archaeologically significant features found, with only a small amount of pottery and flint recovered from across the site. It was concluded that there would only be a minimal impact on any archaeology, so it is not necessary to carry out any further archaeological work on the site.
