SDO21702 - Geophysical Survey Report. Wimborne Minster, Dorset

‘A magnetometer survey of land at Wimborne Minster, Dorset did not record any results of archaeological interest. The survey identified linear trends, discrete anomalies and zones of increased response of uncertain origin. They are probably due to relatively modern agricultural processes. A former field boundary and ploughing have also been detected. Approximately 2.4 hectares of the site contained overgrown vegetation at the time of the survey, this rendered parts of the site unsurveyable.’
