Description
The magnetometer survey recorded no magnetic responses that could be interpreted as being of definite archaeological interest. Linear trends, discrete anomalies, and zones of increased response have been detected and categorised as being of uncertain origin, probably caused by agricultural or other modern processes. A former field boundary that appears on the 1846 Tithe map has also been plotted. Linear trends indicative of ploughing effects was also mapped across the site. Overgrown vegetation in Area 2 rendered most of the field (2.4 ha) unsurveyable.
