Abstract/Summary
'Terrain Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of a site in Fordington Farmyard proposed for seven new dwellings in February 2025. Three trenches were excavated, of which one crossed the projected line of a ditched Roman trackway originally excavated at Alington Avenue. A shallow ditch running east-west was found on the projected line of the north ditch of the trackway. No other archaeological features other than modern services and surfaces associated with the use of the farm were found.'
