Abstract/Summary
‘Terrain Archaeology carried out archaeological observations and recording during wall repairs in the south east corner of Max Gate. No significant archaeology was exposed. The original brick boundary wall to the east of the repaired section was built on a shallow gravel footing dug into the top of a thick subsoil deposit. The repaired wall was a latter rebuild but appears to have reused the original footings.’
