Abstract/Summary

'Archaeological mitigation consisting of a 'strip map and record' intervention was undertaken along two parts of the route during groundworks associated with the construction of a replacement water main on the land to the South-West of Gillingham in Dorset. This programme of work involved the construction of a new water main and sewage system relating to a major housing development on the southern side of Gillingham.
