The evaluation on the land east of Elm Close was undertaken before the preposed development of new housing.
The evaluation assessed the archaeological potential of the site by excavating 23 trial trenches to target the areas surveyed with geophysical methods.
The results found limited archaeological evidence, with the only dateable feature of a posthole from prehistoric era in field 2. No finds were recorded from fields 1 and 3.
