Abstract/Summary
Report on site visit by Historic England's Archaeological Survey and Investigation (AS&I) team to investigate apparent mis-location of a mound interpreted as a possible round barrow, assessed by the Monuments Protection Programme in 1998 and subsequently designated as a Scheduled Monument. A different grid reference is proposed and a second mound of apparently similar character noted. The uncertain nature of the mounds is discussed.
