Abstract/Summary
A watching brief was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology on behalf of Woolworths Properties Ltd, during the redevelopment of the property adjacent to the southern side of Woolworths, South Street, Dorchester.
The archaeology of the whole site had been destroyed by 19th-20th century landscaping associated with the construction of 'The Hollies' and its attendant gardens.
