Abstract/Summary
Observations and recording by AC archaeology during pipelaying works for the new 250mm distribution water main between Wizard Bridge and a reservoir in Honeycombe Wood. Monitoring of topsoil stripping and trenching revealed one feature which was considered to be modern in origin. Several unstratified finds were recovered from the stripped surfaces; these included a prehistoric flint flake and fragments of medieval pottery.
