Abstract/Summary
Report on evaluation of an area proposed for mineral extraction. Most trenches revealed nothing of archaeological interest, others contained only modern features such as land drains. Most anomalies identified during earlier geophysical survey proved on investigation to be of geological origin. Two semi-circular anomalies, however, corresponded to ditches recorded during the evaluation.
