Abstract/Summary
Report on analysis of charred plant remains and charcoal recovered during excavations in 1998-99. The charred plant remains, from 12/13th-century contexts suggesting that they are kitchen waste, were dominated by cereal grains and weed seeds, particularly free-threshing type wheat.
