Abstract/Summary
Report on a site visit and desk-based assessment of a vacant building next to the mill stream. The building appears to have been built in the late 18th or early 19th century, and documentary evidence shows it to have been a tannery, later used as a store, and it was converted to a commercial garage in 1925-6. Much of the structure survives, including tanning pits.
