Abstract/Summary
An assessment of historic environment issues was carried out on behalf of JC and RH Palmer in relation to proposed development of the site. The assessment included all designated assets within 250m of the site and non-designated heritage assets up to 150m from the application area. There were no designated archaeological heritage assets within the application area although it was in a Conservation Area and adjacent to two listed buildings. There was no effect on the significance of these buildings or the Conservation Area. There was one non-designated heritage asset comprising allotment gardens. Gundry Lane itself may have had early medieval origins.
