SDO14594 - St Peter's Catholic School, Bournemouth, Dorset. Proposed Phase C development. Archaeological Watching Brief Report.

‘Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Wates Construction Ltd to undertake an archaeological watching brief during groundworks for a Multi-Use Games Area and a 1–3 storey classroom block at St Peter’s Catholic School, Bournemouth, centred on NGR 414780 091548. Planning Applications 7-2014-3434-BJ and 7-2014-3434-BK were submitted to Bournemouth Borough Council and a watching brief was requested during groundworks by the Dorset County Archaeologist acting on behalf of Bournemouth Borough Council Local Planning Authority. Despite being located in a relatively rich archaeological landscape no archaeological finds or features were identified during the course of the watching brief.’
