Abstract/Summary
A programme of archaeological work was undertaken intermittently during 1993 and 1994 in connection with the construction of a new golf course at Canford Magna, near Wimborne Minster (centre on SZ 04209880). The work comprised a series of evaluations, excavations and watching briefs. The main findings from the project are reported here: an isolated pit containing late Neolithic Grooved Ware; a small Middle Bronze Age cremation cemetery; an extensive Middle to Late Iron Age settlement.
