Summary

A concentration of flint tools and flint working waste recorded in the course of archaeological work connected with the construction of a new golf course in 1993-4. This assemblage of material was of Mesolithic date and interpreted as a probable occupation site.

A Mesolithic occupation site and in situ flints were discovered during an evaluation at Knighton Farm Golf Course, (stage 1). <1>
