Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief was carried out by AC archaeology during the excavation of a duck pond in OS plot 8936, agricultural land adjacent to the private garden of Manor Farm, Stourpaine. The total area of 625m² was inspected during and after the removal of topsoil. No archaeological features were present in the excavated area and there was no evidence of ground disturbance. Medieval pottery and a quantity of iron slag was recovered from the spoilheaps.
