SDO11569 - Archaeological Observation and Recording at Wareham Scout Hut

Lilian Ladle of Wareham and District Archaeological Society conducted an archaeological watching brief on groundworks for a new scout and guide hut at North Bestwall Road, Wareham during 21-23 April 2009. No archaeological features were observed in any of the footings or service trenches. The only artefacts were recovered from the spoil heaps. These comprised 33 objects ranging in date from the late 17th century to the present day.
