Description

Lilian Ladle of Wareham and District Archaeological Society conducted an archaeological watching brief on groundworks for a new scout and guide hut at North Bestwall Road. No archaeological features were observed in any of the footings or service trenches. Artefacts recovered from the spoil heaps comprised 33 objects ranging in date from the late 17th century to the present day.
