Abstract/Summary
An evaluation for a proposed residential development on land at Duncliffe View, Common Mead Lane, Gillingham, was undertaken by AC Archaeology during June 2003. Trenches totalling 29m in length were excavated, which revealed only modern archaeological features and disturbance. Two piecesof prehistoric worked flint and a single sherd of medieval pottery were, however, recovered from the topsoil.
