Abstract/Summary
Context One Archaeological Services were commissioned by Fulcrum Connections Ltd to undertake archaeological observations and recording during groundworks for a replacement water pipe. Work was carried out on 9 and 13 November 2006. No archaeological remains or deposits were visible. The trench excavations exposed undisturbed natural chalk beneath either topsoil or modern tarmac surface with an associated aggregate layer.
