Abstract/Summary
Terrain Archaeology undertook archaeological observations and recording in June and November 2007, during groundworks associated with the devleopment around the Terminus Building. A narrow, linear feature was observed running east-west at the southern end of the site; this undated feature was intrepreted as a possible boundary ditch. A larger L-shaped feature was also exposed. No dating evidence was recovered, but this feature was interpreted as possibly being associated with World War II activity in the area, since the nature of the fill suggested a relatively recent date.
