Abstract/Summary
Short client report on a watching brief during the reflooring of the ground floor of the Chantry, Bridport in November 2000. The watching brief revealed some details of the footings but indicated that the 19th century renovations had removed any earlier floor levels.

Unpublished report by John Stark & Crickmay Partnership for the Vivat Trust, dated November 2000. A photocopy of K. Rodwell's report on the Chantry published in Medieval Archaeology 34 (1990) is included as an appendix.
