Abstract/Summary
Steve Wallis of Dorset County Council Archaeology Service conducted a watching brief at The Swan, Cheap Street during ground works on June 4th 1997.
The topsoil, containing 19th and 20th century material, was observed to directly overly bedrock. No archaeological features were recorded.
