Abstract/Summary
A proposed housing development on the site of the former parish church of St Swithin, in the garden of Allington Vicarage, was preceded by an archaeological evaluation. This revealed only very slight traces of the foundations and the conclusion was that the building and the presumed graveyard had been completely cleared.
