Abstract/Summary
A short note on archaeological recording work undertaken at churches during 1983. The chuches included All Saints, Piddletrenthide where timber floors were being replaced by stone flags. The renewal of timber floors at St. Johns, Tolpuddle was observed.
During building works adjacent to the Abbots Lodging at Abbotsbury several E-W aligned cist burials were recorded and the foundations of the south wall of chancel of the abbey church were exposed.
