Full Description
Exactly 2 miles south-east of Handfast Point, the Admiralty chart shows an area of 'Spoil Ground'. However, Divers have found the remains of a 'very old wooden wreck', partially buried in the sandy seabed here. A ship's bell was found among the remains, but no name was marked on it. (1)
