Year Built: 1866 Owner: A and F Manuelle, London Master: T Collins Crew: 5 Crew Lost: 5 Date of Loss Qualifier: A Foundered / Total Loss (2) 14-DEC, ROSA, was lost about 7 miles east of Peveril Point.(3)

The unidentified wreck reported by John Hinchcliffe has been investigated by Mike Markey who has identified the vessel as the remamins of the ROSA. He has supplied a corrected location of 50°37.368'N 1°51.968'W (WGS84) and asked that this is not made public in order to protect the wreck.
