Summary

Brownsea Pottery is marked on the first edition Ordnance Survey map. A large pottery founded in 1852 and closed before 1887. There were seven kilns, each 13 feet in diameter, three boilers and two 15 horse-power engines, and two brick kilns. There are no visible remains.
