Full Description
Part of a possible medieval feature was observed by Steve Wallis in a trial pit on the site of the former Cornick’s Jam Factory in November 1994. This feature was at least 1.5m wide (N-S) and 0.6m deep. The only dating evidence was a single sherd of medieval (probably 13th century) pottery.
