Full Description

Substantial mounds 8m in diameter and 1m high, slight earthwork traces suggest the original barrow may have been much larger. Trial trench confirmed 3m wide barrow ditch filled by dark brown silty clay and sealed by a thin layer of redeposited chalk rubble. Suggests external diameter for barrow of 31m
