Limestone wall footings forming part of the dividing wall within the Jolly Sailor Inn, The Quay, survive below the floor of the building.

Full Description

Three courses of limestone wall footings were found during a watching brief carried out by Poole Museum during alterations to the building in 1996. The footings belonged to the existing building the wall above having been demolished to enlarge the bar at the front of the building. The wall still survives extant in the rear part of the building. No trace of any earlier structures was found. (1)
