Full Description
'A' Much ploughed bowl barrow at SY 78620740, on a gentle south slope near Milborne Wood. Diameter about 50 feet; height 3 feet. <4>
Round barrow east of Milborne Wood. SY 786974, Scheduled. <5>
'A'. SY 78629740, diameter 16.0m., height 0.5m. Both barrows are in arable and have been much ploughed down. Neither has a visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>
The site of this Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. <8>
