Listed Building record MDO9393 - Tolpuddle Manor House, Tolpuddle

Manor house. Dated over entrance, IVNA 1696. Front wall of rough tooled ashlar stone, left end wall of brick and flint banding, right end, and rear walls of brick - the latter appears a C18 or C19 refacing. Slate roof with stone eaves courses and coped gables.

The Manor House, Tolpuddle situated 60 yds south of the church is of two storeys with brick, flint and ashlar walls dated by an inscribed stone `IBNA 1656' over the gabled porch on the south front. The north side of the main front has been refaced in 19th century brickwork but it retains its original windows. <2>
