Full Description
Probably two confluent bowl barrows with diameters of 22 paces and height of 2 ft. <2>
These barrows were not investigated but at least one pronounced mound was noted in the crops. <3>
Probably one of two confluent bowl barrows, ploughed. <4>
A'. Sy 74529999. An irregular mound, diameter approximately 20.0 metres, height 0.5 metres. … Neither has a visible ditch, and both have been much ploughed down, but spread ditches can be seen as cropmarks on the OS AP, contiguous, not confluent. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <6>
he site of this barrow is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valley AIM project. <8>
