Monument record MDO8185 - St John's Hill, Wareham, Medieval and later features

During development on St John's Hill in 1992 and 1993, many features including medieval pits and post medieval pits were revealed. The general sequence revealed was one of upper levels consisting of probable 18th or 19th century building footings, in one instance including cellars, over a post medieval dated soil, this lay above a brown sand through which post medieval and medieval features were cut.
